EACH YEAR, THE REFLECTIONS PROGRAM CHALLENGES STUDENTS TO CREATE ART THAT SUPPORTS A SPECIFIC THEME. THEMES ARE SELECTED FROM THOUSANDS OF IDEAS SUBMITTED BY STUDENTS TO THE NATIONAL PTAS REFLECTIONS PROGRAM THEME SEARCH.
Avon Lake – Eastview Elementary is encouraging people of all ages to support our school in an easy-to-use program that delivers educational funding.
Apples for the Students is a long-standing program of Giant Eagle that allows shoppers to register their Giant Eagle Advantage Card® and help earn points for the school. With every scan or swipe of a registered card at the cash register, Eastview builds its point base. Accumulated points are used for educational purposes such as technology, playground equipment and classroom supplies.
The Eastview PTA is continually searching for ways to build our sense of school
community. We hosted the Parent Social a few weeks ago, offered the ice cream social for
families, and now we would like to offer a mentor program for those who would like to be
Eastview PTA is still looking for a few volunteers to help with the hands-on sessions when COSI comes to Eastview on Friday, September 30th. Thank you to the many of you that have already signed up to help!
Camp !magine is holding a benefit on November 12, 2016. They have contacted Eastview to see if we would be willing to contribute a basket to their silent/live auction. We have decided to arrange a "Family Fun Night" basket.
The Eastview Elementary PTA will be compiling a student directory of all families who submit their information. All paid PTA members will receive a printed hardcopy of the student directory. We are seeking Eastview students to design the cover of the student directory. Contest rules are as follows:
We wanted to give you a little information about the Panoramic Group Photo flyer that you might have had come home this week. Some of you have older children and know about this but for some of you, this is your first time going through this.
Reminder spirit wear order forms are due Monday, September 12th. If you forgot you can still send them to school Tuesday, September 13- this will be the last day they will be accepted. Forms will be picked up by 10:30am on Tuesday.
Our first general PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept 13 at 9:30 am in the Eastview Cafeteria, we hope to see you there!

As this year’s PTA President, I would like to welcome back all of our returning families! To our new families, welcome to the Eastview community! I look forward to meeting and getting to know those of you that I haven’t met yet! I am proud and honored to work with an amazing group of parents this year on the PTA Executive board as well as the several Committee chairs and members.
